What to Look For In an Allergic Bronchial Asthma?
Allergic bronchial asthma is a term which means (in Greek) gasping for breath. It is a health condition which is characterized as a difficulty of breathing.
Allergic bronchial asthma is often followed by these symptoms: coughing, wheezing, difficult breathing, chest pain and shortness of breath etc. The person suffering from allergic bronchial asthma needs to look after some important triggers which are very unhealthy for these patients and can make their condition even worse.
These triggers are: exposure to tobacco or smoke, catching a cold or any kind of flu, being exposed to any known allergens (pollen, animals/pets, dust etc), suffering extreme temperature changes, using or inhaling strong perfumes and sprays/deodorants, air fresheners etc. All these things have a very bad influence on allergic bronchial asthma patients.
Allergic bronchial asthma can be either dry or humid. The person suffering from dry asthma will have shorter attacks, more sudden and unfortunately much more aggressive and violent. The patient suffering from a humid type of allergic bronchial asthma will be exposed to slower, more protracted attacks, followed with severe cough, with less aggressive shortness of breath.
Allergic bronchial asthma attacks usually occur suddenly, mostly at night. When that happens, patient should sit up in bed (never remain lying) in order to start breathing easier and normal. Breathing becomes wheezing and whistling, usually harder and faster.
Allergic bronchial asthma attack can last for few moments and up to an hour, and when it is over, the patient will be left exhausted, usually frightened, and in some sort of a panic attack atmosphere. Person should be calmed down, and given an herbal remedy, tea or medicine, after the breathing becomes normal again.
The length between allergic bronchial asthma attacks may vary depending on the person’s organism. Some patients can be safe and healthy for months while others may suffer attacks on daily or more common, weekly basis.
