Papworth: Developed in the Papworth Hospital in the 1960’s, the method has been formulated and created by doctor’s to help asthmatics handle their condition by gaining greater control over their breathing. The core principle of the Papworth Breathing method is centred on the importance of diaphragmatic and nose breathing. This method also teaches asthmatics to individually develop a breathing pattern that will suit every activity that they are currently involved in.

Pranayama: Pranayama is a division of yoga that concentrates more on achieving wellbeing through proper breathing. The technique involves postures and stretching that aims to strengthen lung function and the achievement of greater control over breathing.

The three mentioned above are the safest and most effective breathing methods that you might want your child to learn.
